Corporate Education, formerly known as Business and Industry Training, is excited to begin a new year with many changes. The corporate world has expanded well beyond the
walls of Lake Area Tech and we have responded by enhancing our programs, our look,
and our name. In addition to our regularly scheduled classes, over the past year we have
continued to develop and grow customized training programs and partnerships for many
companies who seek quality education and are interested in recognizing their employee’s
abilities. The title of Corporate Education encompasses services we can offer to the corporate world in the areas of supervisory training, business communication, team building and customer service, as well as skills training in the areas of machine tool technology, welding, electricalcode classes, forklift training, OSHA training, Lean manufacturing and computer training, just to name a few.

We are excited to continue offering this level of training but are looking to explore and expand into other areas that are needed by our regional employers. We are only limited by our imagination and are willing to develop exceptional programs based on corporate needs.
Many regional businesses have recognized that the training offered by Corporate Education is a wise investment in human capital. Many of our corporate partners have realized lower costs of production, lower turnover and higher profits by having an educated workforce.
