Amber Schleusner

Amber has been a part of the LATC community since 2011, teaching in the Nursing program. Since 2021, Amber has served as the Nursing Department Supervisor. Her expertise includes medical-surgical and maternal-child theory and clinical instruction. Before joining LATC, Amber worked on the Medical/Surgical/Pediatric unit at Prairie Lakes Hospital in Watertown. A Watertown High School alumna, she continued her education with a BA in Biology from USD, a BS in Nursing from SDSU, and a Master’s degree in Nursing Education from UND. Outside of her professional life, Amber enjoys music, gardening, and outdoor activities with her family.
