Agriculture Business Option
Lake Area Tech has been training agri-business professionals for nearly 60 years. Thanks to the connections and reputation of our program, our graduates choose from job opportunities all over the region!
With our specially designed ag training, you’ll get the latest education in crops, soils, fertilizers, chemicals, animal science and nutrition, business management, credit and collections, supervision, business law, sales, accounting and more!
As a student, you’ll have opportunities to be involved in Lake Area Tech’s demonstration farm, which operates in partnership with area ag businesses. The two-year program also includes a Supervised Occupational Experience (SOE) or internship each year with a local or regional co-op, CHS affiliate, Agtegra, or a privately owned facility.
When you have successfully completed the required courses, you will be awarded an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree.
