Law Enforcement Student Earns Bronze Medal at National SkillsUSA Competition

WATERTOWN, SD – Lake Area Technical College Law Enforcement student, Morgan Rein, of Blomkest, Minnesota earned a bronze medal in the Criminal Justice category at the SkillsUSA National Championships in Atlanta, Georgia. Students participated in one of 108 competitions in career and technical fields. It is the largest skill competition of its kind in the world.
“We are very proud of Morgan’s SkillsUSA accomplishments and her representation of Lake Area Tech,” said Nikki Mark, South Dakota State SkillsUSA Director. “She is a true champion in her dedication to excellence in trade and leadership skills.”
The SkillsUSA Championships took place June 19-23, as part of the SkillsUSA 60th annual National Leadership and Skills Conference (NLSC), a showcase of career and technical education students. During the week, over 5000 outstanding career and technical education students participated.
