Tylor Griffith

Tylor joined the Lake Area Tech team in August 2023 as an adjunct Law Enforcement instructor. He is a 1999 graduate of Watertown High School, a 2002 graduate of Lake Area Tech’s Automotive program, and a 2008 graduate of the Basic Law Enforcement Academy in Pierre. His experience includes roles at Sharp Automotive and Mark’s Auto. He began working at the Watertown Police Department in 2008, where he is currently employed. Tylor lives in Watertown with his wife, Chelsea, and their three children, Gunner, Josiah, and Silas. He is a 17-year member of the Codington County Search and Rescue team, serves as the Vice President of the local Pheasants Forever chapter, and is active in the local Fraternal Order of Police lodge. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, riding motorcycle, and spending time with his family.
