Carly Heuer

In August 2024, Carly joined the Lake Area Tech team as an adjunct Nursing instructor. She earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Registered Nursing from Lake Area Tech in 2023. Since then, she has worked at Prairie Lakes Hospital as a Registered Nurse on the Medical/Surgical/Pediatric floor. She also participated in Prairie Lakes’ first internship program where she served as a mentor and preceptor for a nursing student. Carly is from the South Shore area and currently lives in Watertown. She is working toward her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing through SDSU and will complete those classes next year. In her free time, she enjoys going to the lake, reading books, and spending time with her family and golden retriever dogs.
