Brad Ausborn

In August 2024, Brad joined the Lake Area Tech team as an Aviation Maintenance/Pilot Maintenance Lab instructor. He is a graduate of the LATC Aviation Maintenance Technology program in addition to earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Education & Human Sciences and Aviation Maintenance Management from South Dakota State University. Brad’s experience includes roles working at airlines as well as general, corporate, and EMS aviation industries. He has extensive knowledge working on both fixed-wing aircraft and rotor-wing aircraft all over the Midwest. He is still active on the family farm in Iowa. In his free time, he enjoys riding motorcycle and spending time with his family. Brad is engaged and has a two-year-old son.
