Caroline Hansen
Caroline is the South Dakota FFA Association Leadership & Program Manager for the South Dakota Career & Technical Student Organizations, housed at Lake Area Tech. She joined the team in October 2023 and will be based on the campus of SDSU. Caroline earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture, Animal Sciences & Industry from Kansas State University. Her experience includes working for two years for ABS Global as an Embryo Field Technician in a cattle reproductive lab. She then worked for 4 1/2 years as a 4-H Youth Program Advisor for SDSU Extension in Davison and Hanson counties. In her free time, Caroline likes watching her nephews and niece enjoy the family farm animals, playing sports, and watching football with them. She likes to travel, watch repeats of classic 90s TV shows, and spend a lot of time supporting and volunteering for the South Dakota Special Olympics. She has a seven-year-old Border Collie named Keegan who is a Certified Therapy Dog and together they visit nursing homes, hospitals, and schools.
