Dawn Sikkink

Lake Area Tech welcomed Dawn to the team in August 2023 as an adjunct General Education instructor teaching Sociology. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale in Sociology; studied Paralegal Studies at Community College of the Air Force; and earned a Master of Science in Continuing Education in Counseling and Psychology from the University of West Alabama. Dawn’s experience includes roles as a paralegal in the Air Force at Patrick Air Force Base, a Florida Intensive Case Manager, HSA Family Case Manager-ICAP, and as the Executive Director at Beacon Center. In her free time, she enjoys camping, traveling, riding her motorcycle, shopping, and spending time with family.
