Justus joined the Lake Area Tech team in July 2023 as the Academic Support Coordinator. He is a 2014 graduate of Watertown High School and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Augustana University. He also obtained a Master’s degree in Leadership and Administration from Northern State University. His experience includes five years at Watertown High School as a special education teacher with a primary focus in behavior. His wife, Kaylee, is a kindergarten teacher at McKinley Elementary School and together they have two children, Rosie and Crew. In his free time, Justus enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, kayaking, and golfing. He is also excited to spend time in the family’s new house.
