Kayla joined the Lake Area Tech team in August 2023 as our Director of Financial Aid. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Northern State University where she also studied Data Analytics. Previously, she was a financial auditor for Eide Bailly LLP with a specialty for federal compliance audits of student financial aid. She recently moved to Watertown from Aberdeen with her daughter, Eibhleann, and their pet boxer, Capone. They enjoy cooking, playing frisbee golf, going on evening walks, and relaxing with family at the lake.
