Kristi Lutgen 

The Lake Area Tech family welcomed Kristi in August 2021 as a General Education/Mathematics instructor. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics Education from Bemidji State University, in Bemidji, MN; and a Master of Science degree in Education with Mathematics Emphasis from SMSU, in Marshall, MN. Her experience includes roles as a 9-12 grade Math Teacher (1 year), Kimball, South Dakota High School; Generalist Teacher (3 years), Napaaqtugmiut School, Northwest Arctic Borough School District, Noatak, Alaska; a 9-12 grade Computer Teacher (2 years), Canby School District, Canby, Minnesota; and a 7-12 grade Mathematics Teacher (22 years), Deubrook School District, White, South Dakota. In her free time, Kristi enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and spending time outside doing about anything on the farm. Her family lives between White, SD and Hendricks, MN where they raise cattle.
