Mark Iverson

The Robotics and Electronics Systems Technology programs welcomed Mark to the faculty in August 2021. Mark earned his Elementary Education degree at Dakota State University in Madison, then completed his Master’s degree in Science Education through Western Governor’s University. He began teaching in 2005 at Castlewood Elementary as the 4^th grade teacher and 3^rd through 6^th grade science teacher. He then moved to Watertown Middle School in 2012 and taught 8^th grade science. His wife, Alissa, is a nursing instructor at LATC. They have four children together: Kaylee, Mason, Kyler and Emersyn. They stay busy with the kids’ activities and enjoy camping, hunting, and fishing.
