Travis Thiex

In November 2023, Travis joined the SD Manufacturing & Technology Solutions team, housed at Lake Area Tech. He has two Bachelor’s degrees from South Dakota State University, one in Manufacturing Engineering and the other in Industrial Management. He also has a minor in Small Business Management. His experience includes roles as a project engineer at Tyco Flow Control, an operations supervisor at Manitou Group, president at Impact Engineering Solutions, a business advisor at SDMTS, and director of process engineering at Houdek Manufacturing. In his free time, Travis enjoys spending time with his family and coaching his boys in sports.
