Zachary Briggs

Lake Area Tech welcomed Zachery in August 2023 as a Professional Pilot instructor. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Education/General Studies with a minor in Military Science from South Dakota State University. Previously, he had been a freelance flight instructor for two years and also was a ferry pilot. His flight experience ranges from the Midwest to the Northeast United States flying various makes and models of aircraft. He also serves in the South Dakota Army National Guard as an Engineer Officer. In his free time, Zachary enjoys time with his girlfriend and her dog, working out, shooting, riding horses, working on engines, hiking, and dirt biking.
