The Net
The Net, located just north of the library, provides a central, one-stop-shop to assist in meeting the needs of our students. It is open from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. It is closed weekends, holidays and summer hours may vary.
Counseling Services
Lake Area Technical College provides free personal and confidential counseling services to students. The Counseling Center is located in the atrium area, near the IT Help Desk. The goal of Lake Area Tech is to promote student success and retention by helping students reach their educational and personal goals and by being a resource for other services available in the community.
Lake Area Tech Learning Center
The Lake Area Tech Learning Center is located near the library. In the Learning Center, students can get help from tutors in specific subjects or courses, practice study skills, or simply use the space to study. Our main goal is to help students be academically successful.
You must have your Lake Area Tech username and password to access the Learning Center page in MyPortal.

Dual Credit
Lee Quale is the Dual Credit Coordinator and he is located in Student Services Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM for dual credit questions or assistance.

Lactation Rooms
In support of our students, employees, and campus guests who are nursing mothers, two lactation rooms are available on campus.
Market 65 Cafeteria/Menu
Eating at Market 65 is just like eating at home. Market 65 is located in the Student Commons and offers a wide variety of home-cooked meals and snacks from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Parking
Lake Area Technical College requires students to purchase and display a parking permit if they wish to park a vehicle in an on-campus parking lot between 7:00 am and 3:30 pm.

Weather and Emergency Alerts – Informacast
InformaCast Alerts is a free, emergency text messaging service provided by Lake Area Tech. In the event of an emergency, a text message will be sent to the cell number that you specify and/or your email address.
