Clinvet is widely regarded as one of the leading CRO’s globally.  An exciting opportunity is available for a Full-time Accounting & Finance Manager to join our dynamic team in Brookings, SD.

Primary Job Purpose:  To support the Line Manager to establish, implement and maintain effective debtors, creditors, cash, and bank management system.

Description of position:

·         Support the Line Manager to ensure expenditure control.

·         Match orders and invoices, then accurately capture invoices to effect payment on time.

·         Accurately process daily debit & credit card purchases, matched to orders & invoices.

·         Accurately process daily petty cash purchases, matched to orders & invoices.

·         Accurately process invoices in Accounts Receivable.

·         Accurately process bank accounts and ensure reconciliations.

·         Manage debtors/invoices filing system.

·         Accurately prepare monthly reconciliations of bank account statements against bank accounts.

·         Accurately reconcile general ledger and creditor accounts on a monthly basis to ensure that accounts are correctly balanced.

·         Support the Line Manager to ensure payments are accurately made to creditors.

·         Compile monthly/quarterly and yearly management accounts.

·         Resolve accounting discrepancies.

·         Interact with auditors and facilitate annual audits.

·         Stay abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.

·         Perform any task that may from time to time be required to address operational requirements and to fulfill the obligations set forth in the Service Level Agreement between the Clingroup Professional Services Trust and the Customer.

Qualifications, Training & Experience:

•         Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field and more than 3 years of experience, or

•         Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field and at least 1-3 years of experience.

•         Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suites must include exceptional knowledge of Excel.

•         Preferred accounting system experience in Xero is a plus.

•        Knowledge and Skill – A consistent demonstration and application of required levels of job competency and skill. Continuous development in line with job requirements

•         Delivering quality work within the required timelines – Contribute to high quality service delivery with attention to detail and required specifications consistent with the company’s values and strategies within set timelines
