The Lake Area Technical College (LATC) Rainbow Six Siege team wrapped up its regular season on Friday, November 15, with a hard-fought loss to Bevill State Community College from Alabama. The defeat placed the Navigators third in their division with a 5-2 record. Despite the outcome, the match showcased the team’s resilience and skill in the face of a formidable opponent.
The Navigators claimed victory in the first map, narrowly edging out Bevill State 8-7. However, the Bears rallied, taking the next two maps 8-6 and 7-4 to secure the overall win. Coach LeBlanc praised Bevill State as a worthy adversary, stating, “The games were incredibly tight. Hopefully, we’ll get another shot at them in the playoffs.”
In their inaugural year of competing in Rainbow Six Siege, the Navigators have already qualified for the playoffs—a testament to the team’s dedication and growth. “This is a group that lifts each other up, strives for improvement every week, and refuses to settle,” said LeBlanc.
